VIT-2 Psychrometric Hygrometer
The VIT-2 hygrometer is a high-precision instrument for monitoring air temperature and humidity. While its appearance is identical to the VIT-1—consisting of two thermometers on a plastic base (dry and wet)—its thermometric liquid and scale are specifically calibrated for warmer environments. Water
Use only distilled or high-quality filtered water.
The Wick
Rinse the wick in clean water every two weeks, and replace it with a new one every few months. When replacing, ensure the wick fits tightly around the thermometer reservoir and is secured with a thread.
Installation Location
Where NOT to install: Near doors (drafts), close to radiators (heat), in direct sunlight, or under air conditioning units. Where to install: At eye level (1.5–1.7 m from the floor) on an internal wall where there are no sudden air currents.
